A native of Tucson, Arizona with over 15 years’ of experience in managing hotel and spa resorts, Chris is responsible for the daily operations, sales and marketing of Saybrook Point Resort & Marina.

We are conveniently located equidistant from New York City and Boston. Follow Interstate 95 to the point where the salty waters of the Long Island Sound meet the fresh cool waters of the Connecticut River, and there you will find Saybrook.

FROM MANHATTAN (APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS)

  • Follow I-95 North to CT-154 West in Old Saybrook
  • Take Exit 67 from I-95 North
  • Merge onto CT-154 West
  • Slight left onto Main Street
  • Continue onto College Street
  • Turn right onto Bridge Street
  • Saybrook Point Resort & Marina will be on the left

FROM BOSTON (APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS)

  • Follow I-90 West / Massachusetts Turnpike
  • Take Exit 10 toward Auburn / Worcester
  • Follow signs for US 20 East / I-395 South
  • Merge onto I-95 South
  • Take Exit 68 to merge onto U.S. 1 South toward Old Saybrook
  • Merge onto U.S. 1 South
  • Turn left to stay on U.S. 1 South
  • Slight left onto Main Street
  • Continue onto College Street
  • Turn right onto Bridge Street
  • Saybrook Point Resort & Marina will be on your left

FROM BRADLEY AIRPORT

  • Take I-91 S and CT-9 S to CT-154 S/Middlesex Turnpike in Old Saybrook.
  • Take exit 2 from CT-9 S
  • Merge onto CT-154 West
  • Slight left onto Main Street
  • Continue onto College Street
  • Turn right onto Bridge Street
  • Saybrook Point Resort & Marina will be on the left

FROM T. F GREEN AIRPORT

  • Take 95 South to Exit 68 to merge onto U.S. 1 South toward Old Saybrook,
  • Merge onto U.S. 1 South
  • Turn left to stay on U.S. 1 South
  • Slight left onto Main Street
  • Continue onto College Street
  • Turn right onto Bridge Street

FROM LONG ISLAND SOUND

  • Enter the Connecticut River at the breakwater located north of Red Bell 8.
  • Once past the breakwater and lighthouses, continue north (upriver) until red marker 10.
  • The entrance to Saybrook Point Marina is located at the south end of our fuel dock. The fuel dock is marked with a large Saybrook Point sign and ValveTect sign and has a lighthouse with a red roof (the marina office).
  • Note the yellow hotel directly behind our marina.
  • The gas dock and pump out stations are located on the fixed fuel dock at the ValvTect sign.

FROM CONNECTICUT RIVER

  • Traveling south on the Connecticut River, pass under the highway bridge and the railroad bridge.
  • Saybrook Point Marina is located on the right bank of the river, across from red can 10.
  • The entrance to Saybrook Point Marina is located at the south end of our fuel dock. The fuel dock is marked with a large red Saybrook Point sign & ValveTect sign and has a lighthouse with a red roof (the marina office).

Accessible via one of the Northeastern Corridor’s most popular rail routes, Saybrook Point Resort is a quick ride from New York City, Boston, and more. Once you arrive at Old Saybrook train station, give us a call for a ride to complete the final leg of your trip. Our complimentary shuttle runs daily, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

  • Amtrak from Penn Station, New York to Old Saybrook, CT via the Northeast Regional Line
  • Metro North Take the New Haven line from Grand Central Station, New York to New Haven Union Street Station, CT. In New Haven, transfer to Shore Line East line to Old Saybrook, CT
