Saybrook Point Marina Receives "Five Bell" Rating
The Atlantic Cruising Guide informed Stephen Tagliatela, owner of Saybrook Point Marina,
that the marina has been awarded the coveted "Five Bell" rating. Editors and staff of
Atlantic Cruising Guide scrutinize marinas along the eastern seaboard. Inspectors
examine the facility and evaluate service standards and note operations with respect
to the environment. We are the only 5 Bell Marina in Connecticut and 1 of only 7 on
the east coast of the United States to receive this distinguished award.
The Guide cited the overall appearance of the marina; its cleanliness and high
maintenance standards. The Guide noted the marina's affiliation with an
award-winning restaurant, as well as, with a new spa and fitness center. Lastly
the Guide found that the professional attention of the marina staff complimented
the exceptional physical facilities.
