Group Class Definitions
|
| Aqua Works: |
A fun water workout with cardio, strengthening and flexibility elements. Different pieces of equipment will be used. All levels are welcome. |
| Aqua Therapy: |
A gentle 60-minute water session for participants with joint problems like arthritis. Help with strength, balance and coordination. |
| Yoga: |
An invigorating combination of both traditional Hatha and Polarity Yoga. All levels are welcome. |
| Tai Chi: |
Tai Chi is a soft martial art that consists of slow graceful movements. By playing Tai Chi and Qigong, you can reduce stress while increasing awareness, flexibility; balance, tone, and internal energy flow; thereby promoting the integration of body, mind and spirit. Chi is energy, the life force that flows through the body. |
| Indoor Cycle: |
A fun and diverse cardiovascular training on stationary upright bikes. Members are encouraged to wear Heart Rate Monitors and bring a towel. |
| Pilates Classes: |
These classes will challenge the core strength and improve endurance, overall body tone, flexibility and balance. Exercises are done consecutively to give the body a challenge of breathing and coordinating the abdominal muscles for a fit, toned core.

| Shape & Sculpt: |
This class will provide intense toning exercises using bands, balls and free weights. It finishes with a great stretch cool down. |
| Turbo Jam: |
Easy to follow, this class gives you a great workout. Invigorating boxing moves along with exercises to challenge the mid-section. |
| Cardio Groove: |
Take traditional cardio moves, add a bit of dance and melt away the pounds. Easy to follow and a workout that’s guaranteed to leave you wanting more. |
| Body Tone: |
This class will provide all kinds of body toning exercises using bands and free weights. It finishes with a great stretch session. |
Proper footwear is required for all activities. Classes and activities are for ages 14 and up. The pools are closed during Aqua Classes.
