OPEN LETTER TO OUR GUESTS, VENDORS, EMPLOYEES, AND NEIGHBORS

March 31, 2020

Our collective hearts go out to everyone who is struggling with the disruption caused by the coronavirus crisis.  As you may be aware, we paused the lodging of guests in the Main (original) building and have been utilizing the 20 rooms in the guesthouses and villas which are less than a minute’s walk away.

We have utilized the vacancy of our anchor site to finish several refurbishments and upgrade projects which are made easier because of the absence of foot traffic.  We look forward to the time when you will return to experience sparkling marble and wood floors, a newly-commissioned bronze wildlife sculpture, our renovated and energy-friendly Fresh Salt Porch, and our beautifully-awakening gardens full of butterflies.

While the Fresh Salt restaurant service is suspended, our chefs are being kept busy with room service as well as pick-up and delivery of our delicious menu to residents.  We are also featuring a wonderful Easter @Home selection so you can still enjoy Saybrook Point in the privacy and comfort of your dining room.

We are experiencing an increase in room reservations and I anticipate that the main building will be
re-opening soon.

We are sending positive thoughts, from our family to yours. If you have any questions at all please contact us at 860.395.2000, or via my email or direct number below.

Thank you and stay safe!
