With February nearly here, we encourage guests to make reservations for the Winter Wildlife Eagle Cruise with Riverquest in Haddam, CT. Starting in February and lasting through March, you’ll be able to book a special winter cruise to view a variety of birds, including Bald Eagles, Gulls, Red-Tailed Hawks, Canadian Geese, and so many others! As the ice begins to disappear near Old Saybrook, CT, we begin to see many northern Eagles flying over the open areas on the Connecticut River. The RiverQuest winter cruise departs from the Connecticut River Museum in Essex with all other cruises departing from Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam from April and lasting through October.
