St. Patrick’s weekend. Everything was absolutely wonderful as always. We love staying here. We live only 35 minutes away, but staying here makes it feel like paradise

Great time with Girl Friends of 53 years! Wonderful time with my friends of 53 years having dinner, stay and spa!

Soooo relaxing. Gorgeous facility. Loved the hotel room. (One exception: I think I was above the restaurant so it was noisy during peak times. I wanted to go to sleep at 9pm and it was way too loud. And this was even with the white noise machine I travel with). The spa services were sublime/Zen/superior! (one exception—I had a head massage and the person wore gloves, which feels like you're being massaged with clammy hands. I couldn't wait for it to end and usually I LOVE a head massage). The pool, steam, sauna, hot tub were awesome! The gym equipment could use updating—particularly the rowing machine, which is my go-to cardio. The food was AWESOME!! Also, excellent non-alcoholic beverage choices. (Except: you had a non-alcoholic Chardonnay on your website that was not available. And you don't have a non-alcoholic red wine choice)

Beautiful room and location and staff was very friendly and attentive. Management accommodated a late check to allow us time to get ready for daughter’s wedding.

We had a quick one night stay and enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and steam room. (outdoor pool is heated but we went when it was 3degrees). Our 2 queen bed room wtih a view was very roomy and had a lovely decor. The restaurant has a great menu and friendly staff. It was relaxing and worthwhile!

I had my wedding at The Saybrook Point Resort. It was wonderful. The planning was so easy, flexible and the staff worked so hard to deliver my vision. It could not have been more perfect. The location and property is beautiful, food delicious and staff amazing. Shout our to Meredith for making the day seamless and to Chris for running a magnificent property.

Great place to stay. staff is friendly, helpful, has a great pool, indoor and out with a hot tub and a gym. great way to get away and relax.

Relaxing stay Great stay at Saybrook Point Resort. We enjoyed the King luxury room with fireplace. Really nice on-site restaurant. Very relaxing.

Great stay We live only an hour away but badly needed a break from heavy snow and exhaustion from clean-up and this turned out to be the perfect place to go: great facilities, rooms, and restaurant .and we enjoyed them all. We had a suite with water views which was incredible but there are many other room types. The spa, the food, and the staff were all top notch.

One of our favorites We arrived and were initially across the street in one of their other properties but with the pending snow storm requested to be in the main hotel. This was properly arranged and we had a beautiful ocean view king suite. The hotel boasts the best restaurant in Old Saybrook, Fresh Salt and they should, it is great. This is not to overlook the Choo Choo lounge that serves almost the same menu in a pub environment. The area has many boutiques and upscale restaurants. You have to go to the Sip Wine Bar! You will not be disappointed. We come here on our boat from RI in the summer as well for the same experiences.

Top Notch! Everything about this resort is top-notch! We had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, it had all the amenities and the massage was out of this world! I would highly recommend!

Tides and Tastes - A Seafood Experience with Chef Jeff!! As a 2025 Christmas gift, I gave my wife Joanne a culinary get-a-way weekend at the Saybrook Point Resort & Marina, hosted by Executive Chef Jeff Renkl. The name of the event was “Tides & Tastes – A Seafood Experience.”

Chef Jeff called me a few days before our arrival out of concern, because due to the anticipated harsh weather conditions for the weekend we may be the only couple participating in the event. As a result, he decided to change the schedule to include a private one-on-one cooking experience, and he wanted to make sure that we were ok with the change.

The change included two amazing seafood dinners and breakfasts prepared and served to us by Chef. In addition, we enjoyed a private 3-hour seafood cooking demonstration with my wife as his Sous Chef. We had a wonderful time. Chef Jeff was so nice and patient, answering all our questions and walking my wife and me through all phases of the 3-hour cooking preparation.

Not only did we have a wonderful weekend, but we also garnered a new friend!

Excellent Girls' Weekend! My best friend and I make an annual pilgrimage to Saybrook Point, and it never disappoints. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, the spa services are always excellent, and the food at Fresh Salt is consistently delicious. We have made the trip in both winter and summer, and we personally prefer the quiet of the off-season, but there is never a bad time to stay at this resort.

Truly wonderful hospitality. Beautiful accommodations, fabulous food and a staff dedicated to the best customer service. Five stars is not enough for Saybrook Point Resort, it deserves many more!!

We continue to go back any chance we get. The rooms are spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The staff is top notch!!

The staff and the accommodations were A+. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
